Webcast overview

Welcome

Making decision making more accessible.

In order to make our decision making more accessible, Derry City and Strabane District Council is piloting a webcasting service for our monthly Council meeting which is held in the Guildhall. Members of the public are also welcome to attend these meetings.

As this is a pilot, there may be areas that we will improve upon. We would welcome your feedback.

What is a Webcast?

A webcast is a transmission of audio and video over the internet. Video cameras at our Council meetings capture the live information and send it to anyone that would like to view the meeting. You can view the meetings live from a range of devices, either at home or at other locations.

Should you miss a meeting, or would like to view a section of the meeting again, then you can view the archive of the webcast in the Webcast library. The archives allow you to view a meeting and jump to a specific agenda point or speaker.

From this home page are able to access webcasts of our live Council meetings, view archived Council meetings and access any documents or presentations associated to the webcasts, using the links at the top of the page.

To view a recent webcast simply click on the title of the meeting.

Future Meetings, Minutes and Agendas

Details of all future meetings, including minutes and agendas, are available on the Calendar of meetings page on our website.

If you still cannot find your webcast, contact: CommitteeSection@Derrystrabane.com.

We welcome feedback as well, so use this email address for comments on our service.

Please note that you can find out more about this webcasting service on the Help page.
